ALLPLAN, FRILO & SCIA | From Design through Analysis and Calculation to Detailing
Information
It’s safe to say that an integrated workflow between architecture and structural analysis saves time and has a positive effect on efficiency and productivity for all involved. But how can workflows be optimized? And how can the various disciplines and specialists improve their collaboration? One answer is "OPEN BIM"! ALLPLAN, FRILO & SCIA demonstrate in a first-class OPEN BIM workflow how easily and efficiently seamless handovers can work. The structural engineer himself decides which parts of a model should be used for the calculation – without having to recreate the analytical model.
You will first see how to create an analytical model directly in Bimplus using the AutoConverter. You will then be shown how to import the created model via the SAF format into the structural analysis and design programs of SCIA and FRILO in order to perform the static calculation of the building. In this webinar, we will also show you how to transfer the results of the calculations back to Allplan via an ASF file in order to generate the corresponding 3D reinforcement.
TOPIC OVERVIEW:
- Creation of a 3D building model in Allplan
- Transfer of the model to the structural engineer via Bimplus
- Calculation of the 3D building model in the structural analysis software SCIA
- Calculation of a ceiling in the structural analysis software FRILO
- Creation of the 3D reinforcement as well as formwork and reinforcement planning in Allplan
