Information

In this free webinar, Allplan expert Harald Bogendörfer will show you how to lay reinforcement not only in 2D but also in 3D, and what advantages this method offers for modifications or visual inspections. Learn more about the following topics:

Formwork

Of course, reinforcement can also be laid in 3D when only 2D views and sections of the formwork are available. However, the great advantage of the 3D approach is that views and sections can be easily derived from the 3D model.

Reinforcement

Round and mesh steel is laid in 2D views and sections, but then it is also present in the 3D model. For example, this has the advantage that the laid reinforcement can be displayed or optionally hidden in all relevant views and sections when working on the formwork. In this way, the consistent, model-based approach also leads to increased planning reliability in reinforcement.

YOUR ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE

  • Views and sections can be derived from the model
  • Automatic display of the laid reinforcement in all views and sections
  • Steel and mesh lists do not need to be manually created or checked, but always refer to the quantity of steel laid
  • A modification of the reinforcement is automatically updated in all views and sections
  • Better visual control of the reinforcement layout in the model
  • Data exchange via 3D PDF
