Parametric modeling of prestressing cables in bridges

There are numerous types of reinforced concrete bridges, and in this field there are different prestressing techniques that can be used. Allplan Bridge offers different workflows for modeling prestressing cables and for the different existing prestressing systems.

In general, two different approaches for geometric modeling of cables are implemented in Allplan Bridge, which can be used alone or in combination. In both cases the 3D geometry of the cable is automatically generated along the development of the bridge structure.
