FRILO & SCIA | Transfer of model data from GEO to SCIA for earthquake calculation

In this video, Cornelius Schmidt starts his workflow in the GEO building model from FRILO and first shows you how to transfer relevant model data from GEO directly to the 3D calculation software SCIA Engineer at the touch of a button. He then demonstrates how to perform an earthquake check in SCIA Engineer on the imported 3D model of the building using the multimodal response spectrum method. You will learn how to define load cases in SCIA, assign the load cases to load groups and finally apply the loads. Finally, he will show you how to analyse and interpret the calculated results.
