The laser scan technology is confirmed as a fast and precise methodology, which offers many advantages and allows the creation of particularly accurate BIM models to support the subsequent design phases. With practical cases, the potential of Allplan in the management of the point cloud and in the return of the BIM model of the actual state, applied to residential and industrial buildings and to territorial survey, will be illustrated.
